Rainbow Six Siege controls may seem very complex to begin with because of all the controls and correspondents. But luckily there is a tool bar below the guun on screen that tells you the buttons for each tool at your disposal. For movement you use the right stick to move your body 360 degrees to change your line of sight, while you use the left stick to walk. You shoot with your right trigger and aim down sight with the left trigger. You can relod using square/circle/r, change weapons using triangle/y/2 and 1, and you can also lean from cover using l3 r3/q e. You rapel up buildings and vault by holding x and can break barricades using melee(r3/v). This takes time to get used too but ounce mastered it is like muscle memory.

Some tools at your disposal include two drones(one for the prep phase one for during the round), breching charges (to blow destructable parts of the map), smoke grenade(to block line of sight with thick smoke), frag grenade, stun grenade, an option to change fire rate(single fire, 3 round burst, and fully automatic), cameras on the map(drones for attacking and map cams for defense), the ability to ping a part of the map, reinforcements(to make walls indestructable to regular breaching methods, only for defense), and finally your operators abilities.
