The multiplayer in Rainbow Six Siege includes 3 modes, Casual, Ranked, Custom, terrorist hunt, and Situations. The most popular is casual where there are 3 modes, hostage where the goal is to defend or extract the hostage, Bomb, where there are two bomb sites and the goal is to defuse the bomb or defend them, the last is secure area, where the goal is to secure the biohazard container by remaining in the area or to defend the area. Casual is where the games do not really effect your stats and is more for fun. Ranked has the same modes but this time more serious because you are ranked from copper all the way to diamond based on your performance and win to lost ratio. Custom is where you can play a private multiplayer game with friends with custom settings. Terrorist hunt is where you and your friends can play against AI to complete assighnments.
